About The Position

Assists with the performance of a variety of technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures, under the direct supervision of a physician. Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Upon hire, hold Washington Radiologic Technologist certification or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification.
• Upon hire, hold National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Upon hire, hold National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Upon hire, hold National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of previous Cath Lab experience.
• One year of experience in Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures.
• Assist with open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician.
