About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) in Plymouth, MA. The role involves covering radiographic and catheterization lab functions in a hospital setting, including on-call obligations. The assignment offers weekly pay ranging from $3,030 to $3,299 and involves 10-hour day shifts. The position requires on-call and weekend coverage, with a minimum of one weeknight on call and one weekend per month. Orientation sessions are scheduled twice monthly.

Requirements

MA license required
ARRT certification required
BLS certification required
Cardiac Cath Lab Certification Verification (MA) or Equivalency
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted
Ability to work 10-hour day shifts with on-call and weekend coverage as described

Nice To Haves

Experience in a cath lab or related cardiovascular setting is preferred

Responsibilities

Operate radiographic equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems during cardiac procedures
Manage cardiac stimulators and CEID programmers; maintain sterile technique and the sterile field
Assist physicians during catheterization and related interventions; ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Monitor patient status and hemodynamic data, respond to alarms, and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure safe operation of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere to infection control practices
Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to uphold patient safety and procedure quality
