About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) in Los Angeles, California. The assignment starts on 09/14/2026 and lasts for 13 weeks. The role involves working in a hospital setting with a focus on interventional cardiac and vascular imaging and procedures. The technologist will be expected to demonstrate clinical excellence, technical proficiency, and the ability to mentor peers in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab.

Requirements

Active licensure/registration as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist per California requirements.
Experience or demonstrated proficiency in Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures.
Proficiency with digital imaging and radiographic equipment used in interventional labs.
Strong patient care, exam positioning, and patient instruction abilities.
Ability to mentor staff and contribute to staff development and evaluation.
Eligibility for travel assignments and ability to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
Carry out active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced equipment.
Operate radiographic equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies.
Deliver efficient, high-quality clinical care with strong technical and organizational skills and critical thinking.
Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
