About The Position

Support credentialed providers during cardiac and vascular interventional procedures in the cath lab. Work under direct supervision to ensure patient safety, accurate monitoring, and smooth procedural flow. This is an opportunity with an established organization offering career growth potential. The position is located in Happy Valley, Oregon, and pays USD $47.19–$58.76 per hour. The role participates in on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist program, or allied health education (RN, RT, Radiology, or EMT) with at least 2 years of cath lab experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Ability to recognize cardiac arrhythmias and interpret hemodynamic data.
Ability to meet the 30-minute on-call response requirement.
Obtain RCIS, RCES, or ARRT Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional Radiography certification within 12 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

At least 5 years of recent interventional cath lab experience.
Active RCIS or RCES certification.

Responsibilities

Assist as a scrub technologist or monitor/recorder during cardiac and vascular procedures.
Prepare and position patients for invasive studies.
Monitor and record hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms.
Assist with arterial and venous access management, including sheath removal.
Operate and maintain cath lab equipment and monitoring systems.
Administer medications under physician supervision.
Maintain the sterile field and follow aseptic techniques.
Provide basic and advanced life support when required.
Assist with patient education and transport, and restock supplies.
Participate in on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time.
