About The Position

Carondelet Cardio East is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech to perform stress testing including treadmill and pharmacological tests, ankle brachial index testing, and Holter monitor applications. Responsibilities include conducting job duties in accordance with TPR policies, compliance procedures, and patient confidentiality. The role involves performing Treadmill and Pharmacological Stress testing, Stress ECHO, ABI’s, and Holter monitors, managing Holter Monitor applications, and maintaining associated electronic records. The technician will also perform Resting EKG and ABI testing, record patient vital signs, maintain accurate clinical charting, manage files, update computer data, and process charges for all tests. Effective communication with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel is essential for timely follow-up. The role requires relaying and retrieving TTM reports to and from designated physicians promptly, monitoring and responding to daily tasks, and documenting current status in the EMR. Assistance with additional duties such as phone calls, report distribution, and department statistics is also expected.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Completion of Certified Medical Assistant program
  • Completion of a certified EKG certification or Certified Cardiographic Stress Testing course
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • One year experience in Cardiographic Tech or one to two years’ cardiology clinic experience

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of arrhythmia, 12 lead EKG certification exam and ACLS certification or Certified Cardiographic course with ACLS certifications.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, stress treadmill and stress pharmalogical experience.

Responsibilities
