This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and individuals looking to launch a career in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. We welcome candidates who have recently completed a Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program. We also encourage applicants with a degree in Exercise Physiology or those with a strong educational background in cardiology who are eager to learn and build specialized procedural skills. Our team is committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training in cardiac catheterization procedures, sterile techniques, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient care. Candidates will gain the hands-on experience needed to develop into a skilled Cath Lab professional. After one year of qualifying clinical experience, employees will be eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification exam, providing a clear pathway for professional growth and career advancement. Summary: As an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist I, you will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization/electrophysiology laboratory. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures by overseeing a variety of cardiac imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques to capture high-quality images of the heart during invasive cardiac interventions, as well as other direct patient care activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and stocking the lab before and after procedures, setting sterile instrument fields, and maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques.
