About The Position

The Cardiovascular Technician will also be administering and monitoring exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, performing cardiac rhythm device interrogations, managing remote cardiac device monitoring, coordinating the anticoagulation (Coumadin) clinic, performing electrocardiograms (ECGs), and providing patient education while ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
• Must obtain and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current insurance coverage
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check, Lab Work, Immunization Records
• Ability to talk to patient and/or staff – Continually
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms – Continually
• Vision (near and/or far) – Continually
• Ability to distinguish colors – Continually
• Respirator FIT Testing Required Annually

Nice To Haves

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Experience in outpatient cardiology preferred
• Experience with cardiac stress testing preferred
• Experience with cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) interrogation preferred
• Experience managing remote cardiac device monitoring preferred
• Experience coordinating an anticoagulation clinic preferred
