About The Position

Reporting to the Cardiology Supervisor, the Cardiovascular Interventional Technician ensures a quality outcome and maximum efficiency of the cardiology product line in an adult patient population through the competent use of specific high technology supplies and equipment. Under the supervision of a qualified physician proceeds with the established methodology of diagnostic examinations and therapeutic patient services.

Requirements

• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS within 90 days of hire (new hires only)
• Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health
• Current license by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Current Fluoroscopy permit
• If no current Fluoroscopy permit at time of hire, must obtain Fluoroscopy, permit within six (6) months of employment at DMC.
• If permit is not obtained at the conclusion of six (6), months, employment with DMC will be terminated.
