About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Cardiovascular Remote Sales Manager to lead and grow our cardiac surgery and cardiovascular service revenue business. This role will directly lead a team of seven sales professionals, with the opportunity to support additional team growth as the business expands. The Cardiovascular Remote Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing strategic customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities within hospital systems, cardiac surgery programs, and cardiovascular service lines. This individual will play a key role in developing talent, strengthening team performance, and executing commercial growth strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented healthcare sales professional with strong communication skills, business acumen, and a passion for improving cardiovascular care delivery. Prior leadership experience is preferred, but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential and the ability to coach, influence, and drive results. This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, medical device sales, cardiovascular sales, or related commercial healthcare roles.
  • OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales, medical device sales, cardiovascular sales, or related commercial healthcare roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective communication and executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, deliver compelling business presentations, and represent the organization in high‑visibility settings.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with cardiac surgery programs, cardiovascular service lines, or hospital-based service solutions.

  • Experience in a strategic sales leadership role guiding regional or national cardiovascular sales teams to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, and key healthcare stakeholders to support long‑term business partnerships.
  • Background driving business development initiatives that identify new market opportunities, expand account penetration, and accelerate adoption of cardiovascular technologies.
  • Customer‑focused leadership approach with a track record of aligning sales strategies to clinician needs, patient outcomes, and hospital operational priorities.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using sales data, market insights, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and guide strategic decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering consistent sales performance and achieving or exceeding revenue, growth, and market share targets.
  • Adaptability and initiative in navigating evolving market conditions, competitive dynamics, and organizational priorities while maintaining strong execution.
  • Experience managing remote sales teams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of seven cardiovascular sales professionals, with responsibility for future team expansion as business growth continues.
  • Drive growth initiatives for cardiac surgery and cardiovascular service revenue programs.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within cardiovascular and surgical service lines.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, pipeline activity, forecasting, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture.
  • Partner with operations, clinical, finance, and marketing teams to support customer needs and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to support strategic planning.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and service expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate CRM utilization, reporting, and territory management across the team.
