About The Position

Medtronic is seeking a dynamic and motivated Remote Sales Representative to join our Cardiovascular Portfolio. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years experience in a sales, customer support, role or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences role
  • Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years experience in a sales, customer support role, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences role
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience in a sales, customer support role, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences role
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
  • Candidates below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field.
  • Remote sales experience in the healthcare or medical field preferred.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular products and procedures is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, demonstrating strong sales performance.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, with a focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Experience in account management, with a focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage customer data and sales activities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory, leveraging remote communication methods.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective account management and exceptional customer service, primarily using email, phone calls, video messaging, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and drive revenue growth through remote engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs and enhance patient care.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Medtronic's Cardiovascular Portfolio products.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals and decision-makers using virtual communication platforms.
