Cardiovascular Lab Specialist
About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital - West Valley is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Specialist to assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures. This role is part of a supportive, team environment with resources to help employees flourish and leaders who care about their success. The hospital is known for its broad spectrum of medical services and specialty clinics, including a Level III trauma center, STEMI cardiac receiving center, Certified stroke treatment center, and orthopedics. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, required.
- BLS from the American Heart Association, required.
- Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience.
- Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred.
- Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
