About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley has tripled its capacity following a major expansion, now housing 171 beds to serve the growing community. The hospital has invested substantially in advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment, attracting top-notch medical staff and a team of highly skilled nurses. The hospital team is dedicated to providing expert care in a warm, family-friendly environment. It is a Level III Trauma center, STEMI Cardiac receiving center, and certified stroke treatment center. The hospital was recently given the Women's Choice Award for America's 100 Best Hospitals Emergency Care and is the only designated trauma center west of I-15 in the Salt Lake Valley. Qualified external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus. To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, applicants must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. The specialist will effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. The schedule is variable with on-call requirements on select nights and weekends. A $4.75 Cath Lab Differential applies upon hire.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, required.
- BLS from the American Heart Association, required.
- Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred.
- Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.
