About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA! Hours: Four 10-hour shifts, 7am to 530P with Required Call. Call: Rotating every 4th weekend and 1 day during the week from 5p to 7a. Sign on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates. The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician while adhering to interventional and procedural policies and protocols: provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply of inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Trade School Graduate required
• BLS required
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• One of the following Certifications required: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Radiography (R) ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience preferred
• Invasive procedure experience
• Cath lab experience preferred
• Diagnostics and Structural heart experience preferred
