This position requires maintaining expertise across all CVI specialties while supporting departmental goals related to staffing, budgeting, productivity, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to support clinical operations, staff development, and organizational goals. The individual partners with leadership to recruit, mentor, evaluate, and schedule staff, while promoting quality care, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high patient satisfaction. They also serve as a professional role model, foster strong physician and team relationships, support performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of nursing staff.
