About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Billings, MT. The role involves inpatient clinical duties and call responsibilities, covering a vacancy. The NP/PA will assist in the OR for cardiothoracic and vascular procedures, round on assigned patients, and manage call responsibilities including OR/inpatient call and weekend coverage. The position requires providing comprehensive care to cardiovascular surgery patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active MT or IMLC License
- BLS certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in the OR for Cardiothoracic and Vascular procedures
- IP rounding on assigned patients
- Manage call responsibilities including OR/Inpatient call and weekend coverage
- Provide comprehensive care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient management
