Cardiovascular Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
A large, established cardiovascular group in Central Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative, physician-led team. This full-time role focuses on outpatient cardiology, including follow-up visits, chronic disease management, and continuity of care, with hospital involvement as needed. The main clinic is located in Tavares, Florida. The APP will work with a group of more than 15 physicians and more than 15 APPs across multiple locations, alongside specialists in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular care. The group offers access to advanced cardiac diagnostics, imaging, and procedural services.
Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
- Team-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Provide follow-up care and manage chronic diseases.
- Manage medications and review diagnostic results.
- Educate patients and support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and APPs to coordinate treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Participate in hospital rounding and consultations as needed.
