Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a full-time Fellowship Trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist. This role involves a mix of Thoracic, Cardiac, and Body Imaging, with an equal share of evening and weekend call (no overnight). The position utilizes state-of-the-art scanners including Siemens Dual Source Flash, Philips 256 slice 7500 Spectral CT, and Siemens/Philips 1.5T MRI. There is a dedicated 3D lab for cardiac post-processing. The department handles a high volume of approximately 19,000 chest/cardiac CTs and 500 chest/cardiac MRIs annually. The role includes leading/participating in the nation's largest clinical lung cancer screening program with a 10+ year database for research. Collaboration with pulmonologists, cardiologists, thoracic oncologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons is expected, along with participation in weekly/monthly interdisciplinary conferences. Teaching Radiology residents and engaging in research are also key components of this position. The hospital is home to a nationally recognized Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy program.
