About The Position

This appointment is for the 2028-2029 Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship Program, providing advanced training in Cardiothoracic Imaging. Clinical activities during training include general radiology duties such as general imaging, on-call non-cardiac CT and non-cardiac MR interpretation, on-call general radiology services, and work at non-UWHC sites. The fellow will always function as a trainee when performing cardiac MR interpretation. The position will often involve supervising and teaching residents and medical students. An additional component of this appointment, outside of the fellowship, could be providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and assigned by the Department Chair. Work may be performed at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital, and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.

Requirements

4 Year Residency in Radiology
MD - Physician - State Licensure WI Medical License by start date.
Board Eligible or Board Certified by American Board of Radiology by start date.
Terminal Degree MD, DO, or equivalent.
H-1B or E-3 eligibility if immigration sponsorship is needed.

Responsibilities

Function as a trainee when performing cardiac MR interpretation.
Supervise and teach residents and medical students.
Provide independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and assigned by the Department Chair.
Perform general radiology duties, including general imaging, on-call non-cardiac CT and non-cardiac MR interpretation, and on-call general radiology services.
