About The Position

The Cardiopulmonary Manager provides direct patient care as appropriate while directing and supervising the Respiratory Therapy Department. The role may also oversee ancillary services departments, including laboratory and radiology, depending on the hospital’s needs and structure. The position requires a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) registry and BLS and ACLS certifications. A bachelor’s degree in Respiratory (BSRC or BSRT) is preferred and may be required if the hospital operates a blood gas laboratory. Three to five years of experience in cardiopulmonary activities is required; supervisory experience is preferred.

Requirements

Current RRT registry.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
Three to five years of experience in cardiopulmonary activities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory (BSRC or BSRT); may be required if the hospital operates a blood gas laboratory.
At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
