About The Position
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join its Cardiology practice in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, Kentucky. The RN provides professional nursing care using evidence-based practices and supports patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, the nurse assesses patient needs, coordinates care, provides education, and helps create a healing environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes. The position is full-time and first shift.
Requirements
- Current RN license or valid work permit in Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification may be required based on departmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using evidence-based practices.
- Support patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
- Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Assess patient needs and coordinate care.
- Provide patient education.
