About The Position
Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Davenport, IA. This is a clinic-only position — Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call, no holidays. New NP and PA graduates with an interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply. CVM is the largest and comprehensive cardiovascular practice in the Quad Cities, with over 45 years in practice and 65,000 active patients across Iowa and Illinois.
Requirements
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Iowa license or ability to obtain — multi-state compact license accepted
- Organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a high-volume clinic environment
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology or outpatient clinical experience preferred — not required
- New NP and PA graduates with strong cardiovascular interest are welcome
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient clinic setting
- Conduct follow-up visits, new patient evaluations, and patient education
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the broader CVM team on treatment planning
- Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation
