About The Position

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Gainesville, FL. This is a clinic and hospital blend role — you'll see a wide variety of cardiovascular patients alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs. New NP and PA graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply. Mentorship and structured training provided from day one. This role offers variety with outpatient clinic, hospital rounding, and consults, providing a dynamic work environment. You will be part of one of the few private cardiology practices in Gainesville actively hiring and welcoming new graduates, backed by CVAUSA, a large cardiovascular network.

Requirements

Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida NP or PA license, or actively in the process of obtaining
Strong communicator, team player, patient-focused

Nice To Haves

Cardiology or acute care background preferred
New graduates with a genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine are welcome

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and inpatient settings
Perform rounding, consults, follow-up visits, and patient education
Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians
Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
