Cardiology NP/PA (Electrophysiology)
About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking an Interventional Cardiology - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our staff. Responsibilities focused in cardiology specialty clinics, in-patient consulting, device implantation and management, invasive and non-invasive diagnostics. Our cardiac cath labs have a busy schedule of diagnostic and interventional coronary cases, as well as structural heart disease including percutaneous aortic valve closure (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.
Requirements
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
Responsibilities
- Cardiology specialty clinics
- In-patient consulting
- Device implantation and management
- Invasive and non-invasive diagnostics
- Diagnostic and interventional coronary cases
- Structural heart disease procedures including percutaneous aortic valve closure (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.
