About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Cardiology and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join its established independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role combines cardiology and primary care with urgent care and pain management services in a busy, all-outpatient practice. The provider will work with physicians and other providers to deliver direct patient care, manage patient treatment, and support continuity of care. The practice uses Allscripts EMR, provides extensive onsite ancillary services, and offers modern, well-equipped facilities. Phone-only call coverage is 1:28 days or better. Bethany Medical serves communities across the Triad and surrounding areas through 13 locations and 16 practices. The organization has operated for over 35 years and employs more than 60 providers and 525 employees. Its practices offer urgent care, primary care, diagnostic testing, outpatient ancillary services, and specialty care.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
NP certification.
Excellent clinical skills.
Experienced candidates are preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
Communicate with patients about testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and relevant components of patient care as appropriate.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Build relationships with patients and provide attentive bedside manner.
