About The Position
VenVisor Health is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant to provide on-site primary care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Newport, Arkansas. This part-time role is suited to a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and collaborative care. The listed total annual compensation is $90,000–$120,000. The position supports compassionate, personalized, person-centered care for seniors in a respectful and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- Have a state-specific license in good standing in Arkansas.
- Have at least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
- Demonstrate strong communication, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Have a passion for elder care and person-centered healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
- Perform physical exams and medical history assessments.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals.
- Help ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
