About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established Cardiology Group in Peoria, Illinois. The APP will collaborate with multiple physicians to care for cardiac patients in both hospital and clinic settings, round on hospitalized patients, and oversee in-hospital and clinic stress tests. The APP will serve as the first responder to daytime calls for the hospital rotation. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and no weeknight call. The position uses Epic EMR within an integrated system of clinics and hospitals. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with an Acute Care specialty (ACNP), or qualification as a Physician Assistant.
- Board certification as an AGNP, AGACNP, or Adult CNS; board-eligible candidates will be considered.
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse or physician assistant licensure.
