About The Position

MyCardiologist is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiology team in Boca Raton, Florida. The practice has served patients throughout South Florida for more than 60 years. The position includes office visits and hospital rounding with the physician team. Applicants with cardiology experience are encouraged to apply; experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or a related specialty is also valued.

The role has a full-time, Monday–Friday daytime schedule and includes office-based patient care, hospital rounding, and shared weekend coverage approximately once per month. The APP will work alongside an established team of cardiologists and APPs.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active, unrestricted Florida license.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• A collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Nice To Haves

• Cardiology experience is preferred.
• Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or a related specialty is also considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct follow-up visits and manage ongoing cardiac care.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
• Order and review laboratory studies, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Manage medications and monitor patients’ progress.
• Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other clinical staff.
