About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist to join an established outpatient cardiology practice located in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. This opportunity is designed for a physician who enjoys providing comprehensive cardiac care in an office-based setting while maintaining a predictable schedule without hospital rounds or a call schedule. The Cardiologist will evaluate and manage patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions, provide follow-up care, and develop treatment plans focused on improving long-term heart health. The practice is supported by a medical scribe, AI-powered documentation tools, and Athena EMR to help streamline daily tasks and allow more time for patient care.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active New York State medical license
  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Must be in-network with major insurance plans
  • Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care in an office-based setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up visits for patients in the Bay Ridge office
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of cardiovascular conditions
  • Review medical histories, diagnostic testing, and patient concerns to determine appropriate care plans
  • Manage chronic cardiac conditions and monitor patient progress over time
  • Provide preventive cardiology care and educate patients on heart health, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Discuss treatment recommendations and answer patient questions regarding their cardiovascular care
  • Complete medical documentation through Athena EMR with assistance from AI note technology and a medical scribe
  • See approximately 15–30 patients per day depending on scheduling and patient needs
