About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Cardiology, providing clinical-only coverage in a hospital/clinic setting. The coverage period is from August 31, 2026, to November 30, 2026. The role involves seeing an average of 18-24 patients per day in an outpatient clinic, performing cardiac catheterizations, and supervising support staff. The clinical shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• Universal License (IMLC) – Active AZ license or IMLC
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Interpersonal and relational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology coverage in the Cardiovascular Institute clinic.
• Perform cardiac catheterization for own patients.
• See 18-24 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Supervise and coordinate with support staff including MAs, PCTs, nurses, and PAs.
• Maintain clinical schedule Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
