About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Cardiology in Jonesboro, GA. The role involves providing outpatient cardiology care in a clinic setting, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The coverage period is from August 5, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The physician will be responsible for interpreting EKGs and Holter monitor results and utilizing the Epic EMR system for all patient documentation. Collaboration with clinic staff is expected to ensure efficient patient flow. The position requires completion of Epic training prior to the clinical start date.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Licensed in GA
• Active GA DEA required
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• Epic training must be completed prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology care in clinic, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p.
• Interpret EKGs and Holter monitor results.
• Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Complete required Epic training after credentialing and before clinical start.
