About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Cardiology in Redding, California. The role involves providing full-scope outpatient general cardiology consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient setting. The coverage is clinical only and is needed ASAP on an ongoing basis. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM. The reason for coverage is supplemental. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology (BC)
- Active CA license required
- Fellowship in Cardiology from US/Canadian accredited program
- NPDB report dated within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Provide full scope outpatient general cardiology consultations and follow-ups
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day
- Collaborate with support staff including MA, Clinic Supervisor, and RN
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
- Adhere to foundation privileges and credentialing requirements
