About The Position

We are seeking a General Cardiology (Non Interventional) Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Lewisburg, PA. This role involves coverage in both clinic and hospital settings, with a mix of clinical duties and on-call responsibilities. The coverage period is ongoing, starting July 27, 2026. The position requires a physician to manage adult patients, with an average daily patient volume of 17 to 18. The facility is a 150-bed hospital utilizing the Epic EMR system, and the physician will be supported by APP support with Interventional Cardiology. Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean file.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Active DEA required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Nuclear boarded and Echo boarded required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• CT boarded preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in a clinic and hospital setting.
• Perform procedures including Nuclear reads, Stress tests, Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), Cardioversions, and Echo monitors.
• Be available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
• Manage adult patient demographics.
• Collaborate with APP support and Interventional Cardiology.
