About The Position

Tenet Health Care and DMC Medical Group are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join a highly experienced cardiovascular team at the Detroit Medical Center. This full-time, employed position offers the opportunity to practice within a robust, multi-hospital network, including Level I and II Trauma Centers. The role involves a mix of invasive/interventional and general/non-invasive cardiology cases, with practice sites at Sinai Grace Hospital and Harper University Hospital. The physician will join a team of four cardiologists, two adult cardiothoracic surgeons, and two pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons. There is an optional academic opportunity to engage with cardiology residents and fellows through the Wayne State University affiliation. The position is supported by in-house administrative services for billing, coding, collections, website development, and marketing. Free parking is provided at all DMC facilities.

Requirements

Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Cardiology (ABMS)
3–5 years of experience required
Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain
Active DEA registration

Responsibilities

Practice interventional cardiology with a mix of invasive/interventional and general/non-invasive cardiology cases.
Engage with cardiology residents and fellows through Wayne State University affiliation (optional).
