Cardiac Tele RN
About The Position
The Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse cares for patients with heart conditions by continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment. The role includes assessing patients, administering medications, responding promptly to patient changes and cardiac emergencies, collaborating with the healthcare team, and educating patients on managing their heart health. The position is based in Seneca, South Carolina, and is a traveler contract role. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts, 07:00–19:30. Floating is required if needed, and weekend coverage is every other weekend, though this may change based on need.
Requirements
- Two years of ER experience required.
- One year of EPIC experience required.
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
- Active South Carolina RN license.
- Required certificates: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, remote telemetry monitoring, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
- First-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
