About The Position
Under the general supervision of the manager for cardiology services, the Cardiac Tech II independently performs EKGs, applies Holter and event monitors, provides patient education, and participates in stress testing under supervision. The role also includes patient reception, appointment scheduling, and other clerical support tasks as needed. This is a per-diem, day-shift position at Harrington Hospital's Southbridge Campus. The schedule may include Monday through Friday and weekends, with listed hours of 7 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m.–1 p.m. on weekends or holidays. The position lists zero scheduled hours. The hiring range is $16.18–$29.13 based on a 40-hour full-time schedule; actual compensation varies with scheduled hours and other stated factors.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent; applicants may graduate within six months of hire.
- EKG certification or demonstrated competency performing EKGs, as assessed by the direct manager.
- At least one year of experience working in a cardiovascular lab or equivalent.
- Computer literacy.
