About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a per diem Hospitalist Physician to join its Hospital Medicine team at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Harrington is a community-focused acute care hospital serving South Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut. As part of UMass Memorial Health, it combines a community hospital approach with access to the resources, specialty expertise, and academic strength of a large health system. The Hospital Medicine program is established and staffed by physicians and advanced practice providers. The role offers an open ICU, with no procedures required, and uses Epic across the UMass Memorial Health system. Physicians work with supportive nursing staff and experienced multidisciplinary care teams in a collaborative environment with operational support. The organization emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- MD or DO degree.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
