About The Position

This position provides support for Cardiac Surgery at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA. The role involves covering 3 weekends per month, with 24-hour call duties from Friday 5 pm to Monday 7 am. Responsibilities include patient care for individuals aged 18 and above, with an average callback time of 4 hours per day, including rounding. Special procedures such as vein harvesting are part of the role. The department handles urgent surgeries, including those from the cath lab, and patients transition from ICU to home once stable. A backup surgeon is available after consult.

Requirements
