About The Position

Performs adult and pediatric echocardiography procedures and performs and analyzes cardiac ultrasound tests, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) for pediatric and adult patients and adult transesophageal echocardiograms. Studies may involve patients in any area of the hospital. The role includes rotating call, weekends, and holidays. Staff must respond to emergent and on-call studies within 45 minutes.

Requirements

• Two-year Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology.
• At least one year of experience in non-invasive cardiac ultrasound techniques.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or CCI.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography procedures.
• Perform and analyze TTE cardiac ultrasound tests on pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform and analyze adult transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties and respond to emergent or on-call studies within 45 minutes.
• Work required rotations on weekends and holidays.
