About The Position

The Cardiac Sonographer operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound examinations and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The role provides patient services using ultrasound equipment, applies knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and provides care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The sonographer communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Must become certified by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI within six months of employment.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Registered ARDMS, or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist).
