About The Position

Northside Hospital is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients. The position also maintains performance-improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC. The shift is Monday through Friday, 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Hold an appropriate echocardiography credential: RDCS from ARDMS; RCS or RCCS from CCI; CRCS from Sonography Canada; or ACS from CCI.
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Membership in one or more professional societies related to sonography.
• Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain performance-improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.
