About The Position

Utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce images of the heart, tissues, and blood flow inside the body that are used by physicians to make a medical diagnosis.

Requirements

• Registry Certification required.
• Previous experience in cardiac ultrasound scanning required.
• Previous experience in cardiac stress testing required.
• Must be able to take at least 4-5 days of call per month and be able to arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes of being paged.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with pediatric and neonate imaging strongly preferred.
• Preferred licensure in the state of Illinois, but will consider licensure pending within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce images of the heart, tissues, and blood flow inside the body that are used by physicians to make a medical diagnosis.
• Must be able to take at least 4-5 days of call per month and be able to arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes of being paged.
• Work Shift Details: Days: 10 hours, 6:30a-5:00p Weekend rotation (1 weekend a month, 1 on call weekend every other month ) Call Shifts Required (on call shift: 5p-6:30a)
