As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will collaborate with and learn from some of the best caregivers in healthcare while building a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world. You will be part of a supportive caregiver team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and creating one of the best environments to work in healthcare. In this role, you will perform echocardiogram studies to obtain important diagnostic information about patients’ cardiac health. Responsibilities include evaluating blood flow, valve function, and chamber size to help determine the overall condition of the heart. You will also assist physicians in the cardiac catheterization lab and operating room while supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care with a strong emphasis on accuracy, quality, and education. A caregiver in this role works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage requirements, including approximately one weekend per month and seven weeks of call coverage per year. This position is primarily based at South Pointe but may require travel to other East Region locations, including Euclid Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital, and Marymount Hospital, as needed.
