Cardiac Sonographer
About The Position
As a Cardiac Sonographer at Henry Ford Health, you will perform diagnostic ultrasonic procedures under the direction of a Cardiologist to help evaluate cardiac conditions as prescribed by physicians. You will operate specialized equipment to produce accurate, detailed imaging and contribute directly to diagnoses and patient care. The role involves collaborating with Cardiologists and healthcare teams, interacting compassionately with patients and families, and traveling to satellite locations as needed. The position is based with Providence Hospitals, part of the Henry Ford Health network, serving communities across Oakland County. The schedule is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotation. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500.
Requirements
- Complete the requirements for a Cardiac Sonographer from an accredited program.
- Be eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiac Sonographer designation from a national accreditation board.
- Obtain Registered Cardiac Sonographer registration within one year of hire.
