About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept. New Grads, upcoming grads, and experienced welcome to apply! This position offers a $7,500 Sign on Bonus. The role is a Full-Time Day Shift position, Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm. Paid On-Call: You’ll be compensated for every 5th week & 1 holiday per year for being on-call, even if you’re not called in. The Graphics (Echocardiology) department performs in-depth testing to determine the functioning of the human heart. Fantastic learning opportunities are available to gain experience and learn cutting edge echo guided procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
• RDCS or equiv

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital.
• Maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC.
• Updates daily charges in the computer.
• Utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
• Performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.
