About The Position

This role involves providing continuous ECG monitoring through the assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias. The technician will measure P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations. They will also troubleshoot monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and seek solutions. Additionally, the role includes maintaining inventories of supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters, ensuring they are in working condition, and reporting malfunctions promptly.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• No experience required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience as a monitor technician
• Successful completion of PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessment within 30 Days
• Certification as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) through the American Education Certification Association
• Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International

Responsibilities
