Cardiac Rehab, Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) Full Time, Days
About The Position
Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist to join our friendly, hard-working team in the Cardiovascular Department, Cardiac Rehab. This is a Full Time position with Day shifts, working 4 days per week, 9 hours per day. No weekends or holidays are required. The pay rate ranges from $32.25/hr to $45.29/hr, with additional pay for a BSN. The role requires ACLS certification, and experience with rehab is a plus. HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) serving the rural Logan, Ohio area, with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Surgical Services, and various Outpatient Clinics. Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Professional Registered Nurse license from the Ohio Board of Nursing, active and in good-standing.
- CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS - approved by the American Heart Association.
- Knowledgeable of Order processing systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word processing software.
- Knowledge of a variety of age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Nice To Haves
- One year of cardiac rehab experience preferred.
- Additional pay for BSN.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to the acutely ill patient through nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Effectively interact with patients, their support team, and other health team members while maintaining duties of professional nursing.
- Perform event monitor applications.
- Assist nuclear medicine/respiratory therapist during cardiac stress tests.
- Conduct permanent pacemaker checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
