About The Position
The Cardiac Monitoring Technician III interprets and reports EKG data received from patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing and developing appropriate treatment plans. In addition, this position provides leadership, guidance, and support to other technicians, promoting adherence to established procedures and quality standards. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Computer literacy
- Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
- CCT Certification Certified Cardiographic Technician)
- English as a fluent language
- Ability to demonstrate EKG interpretation
- 5+ years of EKG experience in monitor center setting
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced EKG interpretation skills with accuracy and recognizes the clinical implications for patient care
- Provide direction and coaching to peers, helps the team stay aligned, communicate effectively, and manage independent responsibilities.
- Accurately document actions taken
- Build high -quality reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards.
- Verify patient demographics
- Achieve and maintain monthly metric goals for quality and productivity.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of downstream impacts and integrate this awareness into decision making
- Adhering to any general or specific policies, procedures, work instructions, including HIPAA guidelines
- Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
- Effective, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Manage and coordinate emergent situations with confidence, utilizing clinical expertise to ensure timely, patient-centered outcomes
- Foster strong partnerships with internal and external customers
- Balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Guide and support peers effectively through coaching and mentorship, promoting alignment across the team.
- Manage responsibilities in a consistent, independent, and efficient manner.
- Contribute to a positive team culture
