About The Position

The Cardiac Monitoring Technician III interprets and reports EKG data received from patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing and developing appropriate treatment plans. In addition, this position provides leadership, guidance, and support to other technicians, promoting adherence to established procedures and quality standards. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Computer literacy
Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
CCT Certification (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
English as a fluent language
Ability to demonstrate EKG interpretation
5+ years of EKG experience in monitor center setting

Nice To Haves

Full schedule flexibility from Monday through Friday.
Team members work rotating shifts that may be scheduled on any weekday.
Occasionally, you are required to work on holidays and weekends.
Subject to change according to business needs.
Training is 6 - 8 weeks long, during the day on weekdays.
Full attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data
Build high-quality reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards.
Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and clearly communicate information to appropriate team members
Accurately document actions taken
Exercise critical thinking
Adhering to any general or specific policies, procedures, work instructions, including HIPAA guidelines
Achieves and maintains monthly metric goals for quality and productivity.
Contribute to a positive team culture
Foster strong partnerships with internal and external customers
