About The Position
Responsible for monitoring patient status via electronic systems and notification of the patient care team when a variance or audible alarm occurs according to policy.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required
- ECG Certification required within 12 months of hire date by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine
- Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course and/or demonstrated competency in rhythm analysis upon hire
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Proficiency in computer programs required to perform the role
Nice To Haves
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience strongly preferred
