About The Position
Emplify Health is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer for its La Crosse team. The role offers the opportunity to provide patient care alongside a highly skilled team and is open to experienced sonographers and new graduates. The team works across pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The position also includes same-day travel to outreach facilities as part of a mobile echocardiography service. This is a 1.0 FTE position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Day shifts run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional call requirements. Compensation ranges from $40.09 to $60.14 per hour based on relevant experience. Sign-on bonuses are offered based on experience: $15,000 for candidates with 3–5 or more years of experience and $7,500 for candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography.
- Obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer—Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) within one year of hire.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification, including hands-on learning, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac sonography in settings including pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient, and outpatient care.
- Travel to outreach facilities on the same day as part of the mobile echocardiography service.
- Participate in occasional call requirements.
